Key2 - HitFit @ Brio and RE - is high intensity, short intervals workout on the treadmill and on the floor (strength) designed for you to get the most out of your workout and improve your overall fitness. The cardio and strength are broken into intervals of 10-30 mins and you don’t have to be a “runner” to get the most out of this class. Come in ready to sweat and prepare to leave feeling strong and empowered (achieving more than you thought possible)
BENEFITS: Studies comparing high-intensity running intervals with moderate long-distance runs found HIIT training achieved significantly greater training effects for workouts of the same duration. HIIT improves your aerobic (with oxygen) and anaerobic (without oxygen) endurance, increases your maximum oxygen uptake (VO2 max), and thus your running performance. The high level of intensity provides your muscles with a much greater training stimulus than moderate long-distance running. Plus, your muscles require far more energy for their recovery processes after HIIT. Thanks to this afterburn effect, you burn additional calories.
Key2 - RunFit @ Brio and RE -How do you get faster? You have to run faster and doing with others makes it so much easier and enjoyable. Intervals are the single best way to improve your running paces, your form and efficiency, and your overall strength. We’ll lead you through each step of the workout and you’ll leave stronger and ready to take on the day! Begins with a warm up of 8-10 mins, a quick dynamic stretch right into 30ish mins of running intervals from :60-6:00, followed by a cool down - all at your own pace.
Key2 - QuickFit and Circuit @ Brio and RE - These classes are geared to the runner looking to improve performance and reduce injuries. Since most runners like running more than strength training, QuickFit is 30 mins of some plyo (can be modified) and short interval strength moves (some Hiit) to improve your overall strength and thus your running or any other activity. And you still have time to add your run or xtrain before or after to get a great workout. Circuit is focused on Functional movements that will lead to increased overall strength and running specific improvements in a classic format of longer intervals of :30-2:00. No two classes are the same so you’ll never get bored!
Wednesday Trail Run @ RE - Hilly Class run with option to add intervals or run an easy hilly run.
CLASSES ARE A MAXIMUM OF 8-10 for running and 10-12 for strength
Cost - One class a week for 10 Weeks
RUNFIT - $165 HitFit (combo) - $165 Strength (Fri 6am only) - $130 QuickFit (30 mins) - $100
Drop In - $18-run/combo $12 and $14-strength
Brio - Brio cost is slightly different - Buy a 5 or 10 class punchpass that is good for the duration of the session. The punchpass does not transfer to the next session. The punchpass allows you to hold your spot in a class but also do other classes if you have to miss.
