Coaching - a Weekly Training Plan 

This is a great plan to provide accountability, variations in training and take the guess work out of what to do next.

My goal is to make your training a positive and personal experience. Every Runner has different speeds, injuries, schedules and backgrounds and with that different training adaptations and needs. By working together toward your goals, with weekly feedback, and communication we can make the most of your training.

Road or Track or Trail Runner, I coach every distance from the Mile to the Marathon. Whether it's your 10th Boston Marathon or you're just getting started, I adapt and understand every phase of running.

I believe it's the details that make you stronger and incorporate complimentary running elements with strength training, mobility, band work, balance work and if needed, cross training. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

CUSTOMIZED TRAINING PLAN   - Designed to meet your goals and schedule and based of your personal progress each week. 

WEEKLY PLAN ADJUSTMENTS    - Week to week plan to accommodate for pace changes, missed workouts, illness, travel...  allows for the greatest training benefit and takes into account that life gets in the way sometimes. 

WEEKLY CHECK IN    - Text, phone call, email, you decide when and how much contact you want. We will be in touch through the calendar and workouts as well.

I’m here to help you stay on track for your goals, assess the workouts for that week and and most importantly fit the workouts into your needs for your time. 

MENTAL CUES AND POSITIVE STRATEGIES FOR RUNNING + LIFE: This might be the most important piece and where I think I can give you the most benefit! I love the power of the mind and it was my strongest asset as a pro. I’m a big believer in the power of positive thinking that running or any activity is 80-90% mental. I’ll give you strategies and cues to take your running to the next level, feel stronger and in control (because you know the tools) and have a whole lot more fun!

CUSTOM STRENGTH TRAINING   -  To compliment and improve your running, reduce injuries and implement an important part of running that often gets overlooked. Pictures and descriptions of every exercise provided if needed or join a class or I’ll send a recording! Strength is such an important piece of the puzzle.  (MINIMAL EXTRA COST)

RACE PLANNING AND GOAL SETTING   -  For short and long term goals for racing OR  for fitness (you don’t need to be a racer to have a plan:)

RACE STRATEGY AND MENTAL TECHNIQUES  - To focus on the areas you need to work to work on for your race. This is a very important part of racing! 

FORM ANALYSIS -  Improve your running stride and efficiency (currently over zoom)

NUTRITION TIPS - General nutrition advice for racing and training. References for more detailed nutrition needs.

LIVE STRENGTH TRAINING or RECORDING - (small added cost) 7AM STRENGTH CLASSES - ZOOM or Friday in person @Runners Edge option (also on zoom). TUESDAY AND FRIDAY
